The Denim Project is a 501c3 Non-Profit organization. We work very hard to keep our administrative costs low (currently less than 20% of our budget) to maximize the good works done with the dollars donated. Please see the different types of donation options needed below. While money is always good, we also make good use of donated fabrics, sewing supplies, sewing machines, treadle machines, and sergers. Thank you for stopping by the Denim Project.
Will you be the instrument God uses to answer our prayers? Our Denim Team keeps a log of ministry projects we hope to fund in the coming year. Your gift might provide a sewing machine to one of our Haitian team members or secure a building for future business opportunities. Your donation could ensure the delivery of a package or give a microloan to a new seamstress. Ultimately your gift provides a foundation to share Christ with the women of Haiti and employ them in a future of hope.
Due to the overwhelming response of our supporters, we are no longer accepting denim donations. Thank you for your generosity.
Seamstresses purchase fabric out of the love for colors, textures and design with visions of creating beautiful handmade items for gifts or the home. However many of us never get around to using all of the fabric collected in the fabric stash. If you are in the process of destashing your fabric, consider donating it to The Denim Project. Your gift of fabric helps stretch the limited budget we work with. Your gift of fabric will go towards making beautiful items for The Denim Project that will in turn further our efforts in job creation, education, and orphan prevention.
Fabrics we use: Denim, Cotton, and Minky.
